Explore the Legends of Avallen Against the Faerie Queene Bundle: core rules, campaign, art book, and playing cards—plus what to know before buying.
Quick answer
The Legends of Avallen Against the Faerie Queene Bundle is the most complete way to start or expand your campaign, packing the core rules, campaign book, art book, and official playing cards into one discounted set. It's ideal for new players and collectors alike, but if you already own some components, buying individually may save you money.
What makes the bundle worth it
The bundle brings together all three Legends of Avallen books plus the official playing cards, giving you everything you need to run the Against the Faerie Queene campaign. The core rules provide the foundation, the campaign book guides your adventures, and the art book showcases the stunning visuals that earned the ENNIE award nomination.
For newcomers, this is a convenient way to jump in without hunting down each product separately. For existing fans, the bundle offers a chance to complete your collection at a lower price than buying each item individually.
What you get with the bundle
Inside the bundle you'll find the Legends of Avallen Core Rules, the Against the Faerie Queene Campaign, the Art of Against the Faerie Queene, and the official playing cards. You'll also receive complementary PDF copies of the core rules, campaign book, and art book immediately upon purchase, so you can start reading while you wait for the physical books to arrive.
Note that there is no PDF version of the playing cards—they are a print-only product. This means the cards are only available in physical form, which is worth keeping in mind if you prefer digital resources.
Decision rules: bundle or individual?
- New to Legends of Avallen: If you don't own any of these products, the bundle is the best value. You get the core rules, campaign, art book, and cards at a discount compared to buying separately, plus immediate PDFs. Check that the bundle price is lower than the sum of individual items before committing.
- Already own the core rules: If you already have the core rules, consider buying the campaign book and art book individually. The bundle may still be worth it if you want the cards, but you'll be paying for a duplicate core rulebook. Compare the cost of the individual items you need against the bundle price.
- Collector or art enthusiast: If you value the artwork and want a physical keepsake, the art book and foil playing cards are standout additions. The bundle ensures you get both without missing out. If you're only after the art book or cards, buying those individually might be more economical.
