The Troubleshooters - The U-Boat Mystery

The kidnapping setup immediately hooked us, and the lost U-boat map adds a perfect excuse for investigation. We've run it three times already with different groups, who always argue over the political implications.

We played through it in two sittings and the mystery just keeps pulling you forward—the kidnapping hook with the map to a lost U-boat is such a clever setup. The ENNIE award is well deserved, the clues are laid out so we always had a lead to chase but never felt railroaded.

The puzzle of tracking down the missing journalist and deciphering the map kept our group engaged for two sessions. I just wish the adventure had a few more detailed NPC descriptions to work with.
