Freeway Warrior 4 - California Countdown

I was hooked by the survival mechanics from the first combat encounter, and the branching paths really make each decision feel weighty. The post-apocalyptic California setting is vividly described, making the journey feel desperate and real.

The opening pages immediately pull you into Cal Phoenix’s desperate run to the coast, with the survival rules feeling tense and urgent. I love how the description ties directly to the Dallas Colony lore, making each decision matter for the final exodus.

The branching paths in this game book really ratchet up the tension — I felt like every decision mattered for Cal Phoenix’s survival. The description of the final exodus to California is vivid and keeps you turning pages. It’s a satisfyingly tough conclusion to the series.
