Nephilim: A junk-word term used to describe the diverse descendants of X’ion’s genetically engineered army. Created to wage war on the Archons and their creations, before being abandoned by their creator, X’ion, once the war was won.

Engineered to interact with other races, Emissaries appear more “normal” than other Nephilim. Emissaries are grown to full maturity in vats in a single year. Their minds are filled with fake memories and experiences to give context to their implanted personalities and skills.

28mm, Heroic Scale, Boutique Resin Miniature of a Hraks Nephilim Emissary.

The lore on this Nephilim faction sheet really dives into their engineered war origins, which adds great depth for narrative play. I'm impressed by how the rules balance their abandoned-creator backstory with unique abilities. It's a solid expansion that makes me want to build a whole campaign aroun

I got this to expand my Fragged Empire sessions, and the backstory about the Hraks being descendants of an engineered army adds so much depth to NPC interactions. The junk-word origin for Nephilim gave me fresh plot hooks for a broken genetic experiment plotline.

Ava I. ★★★★★

The lore about the Nephilim being a genetically engineered army abandoned by their creator adds so much depth to the Emissary's command role. The stats make it a standout leader for a war-torn campaign, and the artwork captures that rugged, alien feel perfectly.
